Walter W. Holloway

WALTER W. HOLLOWAY, 86, died on Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at home. Born Oct. 24, 1928, he was a son of the late Walter Steven Holloway and Myrtle Ivy (Kitchens) Holloway. He was a United States Army veteran. He married Naomi Jean Hawks in 1951. He was a custodian with Elmhurst High School in Fort Wayne for 19 years before retiring in 1993. Survivors include his wife, Naomi Holloway of Fort Wayne; son, Rick (Patricia) Holloway of Fort Wayne; two grandsons, Christopher (Amelia) Holloway and Fletcher Holloway (fiance, Mary), both of Fort Wayne; three great-grandchildren; and sister, Clara Hanthorn of Fort Wayne. He was preceded in death by his son, Stanley Dale Holloway in October of 1987; four brothers; and six sisters. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2015, at Westview Alliance Church, 9804 Illinois Road, Fort Wayne (IN 46804), with visitation one hour prior to the funeral service.
