Walter P. Smith Jr.

Walter P. Smith Jr., 74, passed away on Saturday June 23, 2012. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, and graduated from Milford High School in Connecticut. He served in the Army and National Guard with an honorable discharge. He worked for North American Van Lines for many years and retired from Consolidated Freightways in 2001. He is survived by his daughters Jennifer (Orville) Erickson, Heather (Brad) Thomas, his significant other, Phylis Richter, who he called his angel, brother Roger (Marcia) Smith, grandchildren Mikayla, Marissa, and Taylor Erickson and Nathan and Natalie Thomas, and 3 neices. He was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Florence Smith and his brother Tommy Smith. Memorial Service Saturday, June 30 at 11am at Calvary United Methodist Church, 6301 Winchester Rd. with calling one hour prior.
