Werner was born in Vienna, Austria on September 25, 1943 in the middle of World War II. His mother envisioned a better life for him in the United States, and they emigrated here in 1958 when he was 14. He set off to fulfill his American dream.
He had a logical mind and a big heart. He was dedicated to making sure everyone was happy and taken care of. He was a hero in his workplace and in his home. He was known for his dry wit that would catch everyone off-guard and bring the house down with laughter.
Werner passed in his home on April 30, 2020. He will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew him, including: his wife of 57 years, Janet; son Gary (Anne); daughter Tina (Adam) Lepper; grandson Tyler (Wendey) and great-granddaughter Olivia.
