Bill was a very faithful and caring man of God. He and his wife, Sue, were members of Coventry Baptist Church for 37 years. He was an avid Homestead High School football and basketball fan, and enjoyed his Lionel trains. Bill is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sue S. Ellsworth of Fort Wayne, IN; son Kipp S. Ellsworth of Tucker, GA; daughters, Tami (Chris) Anderson of Alpheretta, GA; Tracey (Brad) Champion of Elkhart, IN; grandchildren, Brandon Anderson, Brooke Anderson, Nathan Sanderson, Abby Wilber; and many life-long church family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, William S. and Maxine S. Ellsworth; and a sister, Joanne Jummonville.
Bill’s Home-going Celebration will be held at 1:30 pm on Monday, April 4, 2022, at Coventry Baptist Church, 10926 Aboite Center Road, Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior. Dr. John L. Blair will be officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
