William K. “Bill” Eversole, Jr., 89, of Fort Wayne, passed away Monday, August 4, 2014. He was born on January 8, 1925 in Uniondale to the late William K. and Elizabeth (Brickley) Eversole, Sr. He worked in the wire mill at General Electric, but also enjoyed farming and working as a carpenter. He was a member of Zanesville United Methodist Church, Masonic and Eastern Star, and the American Legion. He enjoyed woodworking creating cabinets and furniture. Surviving family include his children, Diana (Rodney) Miller, Susan and Richard Eversole, Lisa Wells; nine grandchildren, three step grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, 8 step great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren, and two step great great grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in passing by his wife, Mary J. (Huffman) Eversole and brother, Kedric Eversole. A memorial service will be 5:00 pm on Monday, August 11, 2014 at Zanesville United Methodist Church, 11811 North Wayne St., Zanesville. A gathering of friends and family will be from 2:00 pm until service time at the church. Memorials may be made to the Zanesville United Methodist Church Endowment Fund.
