Zach was born in Cairo, Georgia. He passed away suddenly and too quickly on April 30, 2026, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was a southern boy with southern roots. From an early age, he possessed a vibrant spirit and a natural curiosity. He loved many and all things; his taste was vast. He loved Star Wars, Classic Country Music, Rap, and Elvis. He loved Nature and being outdoors. He loved his family, friends, football, and Fishing. He was a simple man with simple pleasures. He found true joy and freedom on the back of a motorcycle on the open road or in a tuner car. He loved all things automotive. He had a great appreciation for cars. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing with Papa. He dabbled in playing the guitar and piano and loved music. He loved working with his hands, building, fixing, creating things, and trying to invent things. He was our Iron Man and Lego King. He loved his dump truck full of sand, which his grandma had bought for him. Above all, Zach’s greatest pride was his family, especially his son Liam and partner Rachel. Zach’s warm, adventurous spirit, heart, smile, laughter, and kindred spirit will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Zach is survived by a loving family and friends who will carry his memory forever: His son, Liam, and partner, Rachel. His mother, Wendy Lee Singler, and her husband, Matthew. His father, Timothy Hale, and wife, Natalie. His GrandMa, Peggy Elrod. His sister, Iona Cheyenne Hale. His stepbrother, Sydney Singler, and his wife, Samatha. Along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Papa William “Peewee” Elrod. His grandfather, William D. Hale, Sr., and grandmother, Nora Hale.
