Bill was such a gentle soul. During the run of Oklahoma at IPFW, I had to shoot a starting pistol and it scared the beejeesus out of me. But with his guidance and concern for everyone's safety, I shot that pistol off every night without a hitch. Under his care and tutelege, he taught many an actor what it was like to just be a kind human.

He will be sorely missed. Peace to Marty, Becca and the rest of the Kercheval family. May flights of angels, sweet prince.
