William P. Koorsen

William proudly served his country in the Army, and retired from International Harvester after several years of service as a Supervisor, and a Tool and Die Maker.

He is survived by his children, Janet (Randy) Rhodes, Patricia (Mike) Roberts, Mike Koorsen, Sandra (Brian) Rice; grandchildren, Jason (Brittany) Rhodes, Nikki (Drew) Reminder, D’Arcy (Shawna) Roberts, Katie (Jesse) Gill, Torrie (Jonah) Baumgartner, Alyssa Fohr, Ashlee (Andrew) Bartlett, Matthew Rice, and Hunter (Sonjia) Rice; great-grandchildren, Reagan, Emma, Isaiah, Peyton, Landon, Addie, Logan, Angelo, Antonello, Cruzito, Remington, Nova, Porter, Walker, and Madison. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Gloria Ann (Richter) Koorsen, in 2019; and siblings, George (Jane) Koorsen, James (Marilyn) Koorsen, Jean (Wick) Disler, and Marguerite (Jack) Wisman.

A funeral service to honor William's life and legacy will be held at 1:00 pm on Sunday, October 30, 2022, at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne, with calling from 11:00 am, until time of service.
