Dave proudly served his country in the Army, and retired in 1997,as a Plumber, with Plumbers & Steamfitters Local #166, and was a member of the St. Joe Athletic Club, and American Legion Post #499. He was also preceded in death by his son, Stephen D. Vachon; and brother, Thomas G. Vachon.
A funeral service will be held at 10am on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be held from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, March 14, 2022, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.
