WILLIAM "BILL" EDWARD WATKINS, 82, of Fort Wayne, died in peace on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2015, at his home. Born Sept. 6, 1932, the son of the late Walter and Madeline Watkins. Bill worked as a truck driver for the Fisher Brothers and Paper Co. He is survived by his wife, Maezenna Watkins; and grandchildren, Chris Hilton, Cordarro Hughes and Tianna Hughes. He was preceded in death by daughter, Helen Roman; and grandson, Tyrone Hughes. Funeral service is 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 22, 2015, at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells St., with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2015, at the funeral home. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery.
