Wilma Switzer, 87, of Fort Wayne, passed on Tuesday September 12, 2017. She was born on January 6, 1930, a daughter of the late Ollie and Mae Patton. She worked at GTE and later at General Electric. After retirement she resided in Florida and enjoyed the many activities it had to offer before her return to Fort Wayne. She greatly enjoyed spending her time square dancing. Surviving family include her son, Keith Walburn; daughter, Karen Woods; five grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde R. Switzer, and three brothers. Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at The Chapel, 2505 West Hamilton Rd. South, Fort Wayne. Inurnment will be at Prairie Grove Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Association or The Chapel. Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, Fort Wayne are handling arrangements.
