Uncle Wood and Aunt Eunice were the first Meyer clan I met when I married Eunice's nephew Carl Meyer. As he started Pilot training in 1979 at Williams AFB in AZ, we stayed with them for several weeks until we could get housing. As the years went by, we stayed in contact through the family and through his writings.  He was a beloved uncle even though only through marriage. When Aunt Eunice died he gifted me one of her treasured hummels which is displayed in our bookcase. I will always remember him fondly. Love Susan Meyer

Uncle Wood and Aunt Eunice hosted me and Carl Meyer (Eunice's nephew) on our military tour at Williams AFB while Carl was in pilot training. That established a life long relationship with lots of memories with them both. He is truly missed. I have drafts that he gave me of some of his writings on a non-electric typewriter. 

So sorry the learn of his passing.  I   met Nick through the pulp magazine collecting conventions. He was always a wonderful man to share a little time with. He is going to missed.
