Yolanda and Vernon were friends of mine. We attended a lot of the same events over the years.
Yolanda never let her "sight" get the best of her. She was always for whatever was going on and was an example for all of us. Her joy and zest for life were contageous. She will be remembered and missed. I was privileged to know her.
My condolences go out to you, Vernon. As you go through the grief process, may the memories sustain you.
Blessings, Bonnie(Lucas)

I will never forget her! I’m sad I’ve only been able to see her a few times. But without her I wouldn’t be here today. I pray she looks over me, papi, and my family. I love you dearly abuela! I hope to see you again one day!

Yolanda was the dearest, sweet lady. I met her at Wellspring Social Services.a few years ago. She always knew who I was by my voice since her vision was not good.
She always was pleasant and happy to see me and the other attendees....a real souce of joy and inspiration.
I will miss her a lot.
My sympathy goes out to Vernon and her family as they go through the grieving process. Hold on to your wonderful memories of this very special lady. She was a gift from God.

Yolanda was an amazing lady. She had a distinct voice, and Excellent hearing, which made up for her eyesight loss. She was a sharp lady. Friendly to anybody I saw her interact with. She was at my wedding (pic included) And even though my husband isnt always home (over the road truck driver) she always asked how he was doing. 🥰Shes definitely going to be missed. Prayers for Vernon and her family in their time if grieving.

I loved coming down from Michigan to see my beautiful grandma, our favorite thing to do was to go out to stake n shake and have lunch and just talk and talk! I'll forever miss her! She was an amazing person filled with so much love and joy! She was also a fire cracker but loved by so many people! She will always be my angel!! I'm so happy that my own girls got to know and love the grandma I grew up with because she was pretty amazing!
