Zelda Regina Connett

Zelda Regina Connett, age 87, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Zelda was born December 19, 1934 in Tell City, IN, a daughter of the late Edna (nee...Collignon) Jarboe and George Goffinet.

Zelda was a member of Coventry Baptist Church. She worked as an inspector for 22 years with the General Electric Company and retired in 1976. Zelda loved spending time on the lake and with her family.

Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Edward Connett, Sr.; sons, James M. Connett and Edward A. Connett Jr.; and a daughter, Pamela Jo Butler; five grandchildren, Jason (Maddy) Connett, Michelle (Josh) Riffe, Katy (Brian) Scranton, Danny Butler and Kelli Butler; five great-grandchildren other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Andrew Goffinet; sisters, Irene Ball, Marjorie Blair, Clara Jarboe, Esther Stowe and Mary Ward,

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 7, 2022, at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, with a visitation to begin 12:00 PM, until time of the service. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens, 8408 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46804.
