

Gloria is survived by her husband, Abdalla Caram Sr., children, Abdalla (Amy Jo) Caram Jr., Hassan (Tara) Caram, Yassmin (Mike) Lee, Faruk (Isela Montanez) Caram, and grandson Kristopher (Zach Detwiler) Caram. Other grandchildren include Brianna (Ryan) Rhodes, Eric (Shaneka) Lee, Capree (Jeremiah) Greene, Hope, Hannah, Haley, Luke, Jacob, and Samuel Caram. Grandchildren include Tanner and Mackenzie Vo, Izzie and Max Rhodes, Jedidiah and Solomon Greene, and Zoe, Joah, and McCrae Detwiler.
Gloria is preceded in death by her parents Josefina and Felipe Sabag Daher. She is also preceded by brother, Felipe Sabag, and sisters, Guadalupe Sabag, Manife Wong, Lilia Rueda, and Emma Sabag. She is survived by her brothers Jose and Tufik Sabag, and sisters Concepcion and Josefina Iga.
Gloria leaves behind many nephews, nieces, and godchildren.
Gloria was born on May 2nd, 1941, in General Cepeda, Mexico. Gloria spent her childhood and early adult hood in Torreon, Mexico where she was actively involved with her family’s retail clothing business. Gloria and Abdalla married in 1965. She moved to Fort Worth, Texas and had her four children by 1971.
Gloria was a member of La Trinidad United Methodist Church where she was very active as volunteer for much of her life.
Gloria prioritized educating her children and she served as a role model. She attended formal English language school, obtained her High School Diploma and United States citizenship. She was very proud that all her children graduated from college. Gloria was active in the American election process and served as polling place volunteer.
Gloria and her husband owned and operated rental properties and laundromats in Fort Worth’s northside. Gloria ensured her children were educated in entrepreneurship and provided them with the opportunity to participate in the family business.
Gloria loved the Unites States. Many of her favorite memories included family vacations to historic New England, California Wine Country, and her favorite place, Las Vegas.
After Gloria and husband sold their business and retired, they enjoyed all their time together and with family. Gloria spent extended time with her family in Mexico and with her immediate family in North Richland Hills where she spent last years of her life.
Cherished by her family, Gloria was adored by all that were blessed to know her.
