On June 22, 2026, God put his arms around him and whispered,
"Come unto me and rest," and so hearing, he obeyed. Like the
twinkling of an eye, Albert Lloyd Scott went to his heavenly home.
Albert was born on an extremely cold night to Vera Hubbard and
Fred Scott at City County Hospital. At an early age he united with
Macedonia Baptist Church under Reverend Brown. He attended
school at the famous James E. Guinn and historic I. M. Terrell High
School. He worked at General Dynamics (Lockeed) for a number of
years and later worked at Johns-Manville until his retirement. He
was a devoted family man who gave all of his heart and soul to
raise, train, and lead them in the way that they should go. Albert
was the best husband, father, and grandfather. He was also loyal to
his friends and loved the Scott Family Reunions. He was avid
Cowboys Fan and would challenge you at the dominoes table.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Vera Hubbard
Scott and Fred Scott, a brother, Jimmy Scott, and sister, Essie
Murray- Humphrey.
Albert leaves to cherish his loving memory: His wife of fifty years,
Bobbie Johnson Scott, sons, Albert Scott Jr, and Marcus Scott
(Kelly), granddaughter, Madison Scott, three brothers, Freddy
Scott, Jerry Scott and Michael Trotter, two sisters, Very Boney and
Teresa Allen and a host of special aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews,
loved ones and friends.
