Albert W. Stewart, 74, an incredible husband, father, and grandfather, was born in Gerty, Oklahoma to Earl and Ruth Stewart on August 17, 1943. He was a man of Baptist faith and went to be with his Lord on March 16, 2018 in Fort Worth, Texas. Albert moved to Texas to follow his career with B.N.S.F. where he worked for, 36 years as a Conductor for the railroad, until his retirement in 2003. Prior to his illness he was an avid golfer, often played with “The Grumpy Old Men”. He also was a strategic poker player, he would join friends once a week for a friendly game. Albert established a breakfast club with these men whom he shared interest in golf and poker. Amongst his many hobbies he took pride in his personal yard work and gardening, which many admired and appreciated the beauty. Albert was preceded in death by his brothers, Dean and Pete Stewart; and two nephews. Those left to cherish his memory: his loving wife of 19 years, Liz Stewart; daughters, Sheryl and husband David, Terri and husband Vince, Kerri and husband Dave; step-children, Tracy, Jason; 6 grandchildren; 7 step-grandchildren; brother, Jim Stewart; sister, Barbara Stewart; best companion, his dog, Lexi; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, other extended family members; and many loving friends and acquaintances.
