She spent her life in Texas until her parents moved to New Mexico. At the age of 18, she went to work for Civil Service at Holloman Air Force Base in Alamogordo, New Mexico. She met and married her former husband and moved to Dayton, Ohio. She lived there until 1997, when she moved back to Alamogordo, and subsequently to Granbury, Texas in 2008. She then moved to The Waterford in Fort Worth, Texas in July 2016.
Glee is a member of Granbury First United Methodist Church in Granbury, Texas. She has always enjoyed gospel music and singing in church choirs until her health failed. Her fondest dream was always to return home to Texas!
Glee is survived by her daughter Elizabeth Faith Davis; sister, Sue and husband Fred Van Valkenburg of Fort Worth, Texas; sister-in-law, Susan Tekell of Alamogordo, New Mexico; four nephews, three nieces, and their families to include great nephews and nieces.
