Alex,

You and Abel came into our lives when you were about 8 years old. I was so happy with how kind and loving you and Abel were. I loved being around you two because y'all were so silly and fun to be with. I loved watching you play basketball growing up and ultimately growing into the young, humble, kind and respectful young man you did. May you rest in peace and may perpetual light shine upon you.

Alex, you were my first manager at FCP when I first got hired to work on Main Street in Ft.Worth. Also, a very precious friend. I remember you always making me laugh through some of the darkest times of my life. No one else understood but you did. Your witty and funny sarcasm, your jokes, your laugh and your smiling face and gentle heart always brightened the day. You will be greatly missed by so many my friend! I know you will surely contribute many smiles and laughter in the blue skies....Rest In Heaven Alex..

My cousin Alex,
We had so many memories growing up.. My favorite memory was in 2015... just got laid off from my job and Jess said y’all come to Alex and Rosa’s house, cousins are here and we are all having a good time .... I’m so glad I went , not only did u give me the best gift of all time ... Jason Witten signed Dallas Cowboys helmet 🏈 but you gave me one of the greatest memories with you and our crazy family! I remember telling you when u gave it to me “No Take backs even if u don’t remember what happened when u wake up” you gave me a hug and a kiss on my cheek and said “It’s all yours but don’t tell Daniel “I will forever cherish that gift from you ... I’m going to miss you. Till we meet again cousin ❤️ Love U

I was one of the fortunate ones to be with Alex the Friday night before he passed and as always as soon as we saw each other we slapped hands and hugged. For those who are reading this please take a minute and hug someone close to you you never really know when it might be the last one. I told Alex how I missed our days on the golf course we laughed and he agreed. We had quite the regular foursome for a while me and AG and McCollum and their friend Hal who quickly became my friend as well. Me and Hal would sit back and laugh and laugh at AG and McCollum would bet argue and cheat to no end neither could stand losing to each other and that didn’t just stop on the golf course as we all know. I also think about all those weekends at the pool in Rick’s backyard where we all drank too many beers ate too much good food and enjoyed too many good memories. We may have come from different families but we all became a family and that’s how I think of AG he is part of out adopted backyard pool days drinking family. Anyone who knows Alex knows you couldn’t be in the same room with him without laughing and that’s what I will miss the most about him. Alex was kind considerate and generous to a fault rest well good fried you will be missed.

We shared a lot of good times, from staying the night at my house or staying at yours. We were always together hooping in your back yard or hooping in mine. We did gas runs in that red truck of yours all the time, and we got away with it. Every time we saw any type of car with one headlight on we would tap the windshield, first one to 3 bought the food. There’s so many memories I have of you bro, all the laughs we had together was awesome. I Love You Alex and miss you already so much. Rest In Paradise and I’ll see you when I get there. Give my mom a hug for me up there. Forever my friend and never will be forgotten.

I've known Alex since Carroll Lane elementary school and when I think of Alex it makes me smile. He was definitely a funny guy and always brought a smile to those who were around him. You will always remain in my prayers.

I grew up with Alex and Abel, they use to be my next door neighbors. I will always remember playing basketball with the tree in the middle of the cement. You will be missed. Rest in Peace Alex.

My nephew , Alex made me an Aunt. It was 1976 & I had just arrived from California. The news of his pending arrival was met with great anticipation. Finally, he made his presence & his proud parents named him Alejandro Gilberto Gonzalez II. He brought me a lot of joy and comfort throughout his lifetime, albeit, too short. His generous and gracious demeanor, I will treasure forever. The memories of the moments we spent together are now so very important to me: our summer spent traveling in Mexico, helping study for his first communion. My nephew leaves a void in our hearts. I am forever grateful that I was chosen to be his aunt.
