Alex will live in my heart always. He was my 3rd brother even though we didn’t share blood. I was the best and sweetest man I’ve ever known. We will meet again someday in heaven. Until then I’ll miss you everyday. I love you Alex.

I am deeply saddened at the news of Alex’s passing even though it’s been years since I’ve saw him. Alex was one of those people that whoever he came in contact with he would leave a lasting impression on you . I remember when he first came to be manager at the First Cash Pawn # 76 store; he was always a businessman first but he also had a warm playful side that once around him long enough you were sure to see. It was very rare to see him frown he always wore a big smile one I’m sure we’ll all remember; it was truly a pleasure to work with him and he will truly be missed. My condolences to his wife and family ... May God bring you all comfort in your time of grief❤️

What can I say about a man who will never be replaced. Having you as a brother has and will always be the greatest blessing from God I received. I am the man I am because of you.

My strength is because of you. My love is because of you. My positive spirit is because of you. My ambition to succeed is because of you. My ability to accept failure as a lesson in growth and improvement is because of you. My extreme work ethic to be the best at what I do is because of you. My courage to fight the daily fight is because of you. My example as a Husband, Father, Son, and Uncle is because of you.

My reason for living is because of you, and because of you I will spread this infectious desire to be the best person God has created me to be so those who are struggling, will be able to follow through the examples we leave.

May god continue to bless you as you embrace your Journey to Heaven...

Forever,

Alex & Abel

To my big brother, I promise to be the strong one, I promise to take care of mom, I promise to take care of Rosa, I promise to be more like you, I promise to talk to you everyday, I promise to always hold you in my heart and soul, I promise to go to as many cowboy games as possible, I promise to enjoy life as you would want me to, I promise to raise my nugget with values that you taught me, I promise to take care of myself, I promise to never forget the love you had for all of us. I love you my big brother and I miss you very much and my heart hurts, my everything hurts you were my everything and now you are watching over all of us like God intended. You are at peace and while it’s hard to accept you are not here, I will always remember my big brother and the unconditional love you had for your baby sister.

We came to know Alex through our daughter and son-in-law Tammy /Rick Maldonado. They were constantly having get togethers with family and friends and we got to know and love Alex as part of our family! He was always there to greet us with hugs and smiles! I don’t think he ever met a stranger. You could see the love everyone had for him every time we were all together. Rosa completed him and they had a true love between them. She lit up around him and they complimented each other to the fullest. He will be greatly missed but I’m sure never forgotten as one heck of a great guy- and always held in the highest regard by his closest group of friends!

Alex was a good man. Kind and Compassionate. I guess I’ve know Alex about 20 years through First Cash. While I worked 100 miles away in Tyler, we were definitely friends and coworkers. Always there to support each other through the good and the bad. His sweet smile and kind spirit will be missed. Rosa - I’ll always be here anytime you need a friend. Love and prayers to all of the family.

I'm an acquaintance of Alex's. I never saw him have a bad day. He seemed to always have a smile on his face and it was so infectious that it would make you smile. Thank you Alex for making the world more tolerable for so many.

Uncle Alex,
I still cannot believe you are gone, but I know you are resting peacefully now. I think of you all the time now with everything I do. You have been a huge role model in my life. Every time Ryleigh, Mikey and me went to visit for a week every summer, we always had a good time with even better memories even though we were a pain in the butt sometimes. People say that I remind them of you and I am starting to understand why that is now. So looks like I have some big shoes to fill. Hopefully I can be able to see you again someday, but you will always be in my heart. I Love You Uncle Alex.
