I remember Alice being my mom's most loyal friend. Alice was warm & sincere, funny, encouraged by the success of others, gracious, brave, steadfast, and unselfish. She embodied all that intergrity is and those around her felt inspired by the life she lived. Heaven is a more beautiful place now because of her and I look forward to seeing her again in Paradise.

In just a few words I have to describe what Alice meant to me and my whole family. That will not be easy. I met Alice when her son, Randy, and my son, Scott were in the first grade in Keller. We hit it off right away. I consider her to be my dearest friend outside of my immediate family. I never had a sister and she was the sister I would have chosen. Alice was the type of friend that whenever something good happened to you she was happier than you were. We had so much fun together--even went on a couple of vacations together. Whenever my mom passed away suddenly in 1990, Alice was the first one there, and that first Thanksgiving after mom died Alice knew how sad and lost I was so she invited me, Terry, Scott and Jessica to her house for a delicious Thanksgiving dinner with her and her family. It helped so much. She was always available when I needed someone to talk to or just cry my heart out to. Alice was the kind of person who you could tell anything to and you knew it would never go any further. That's how much she respected your privacy. When I was 34 years old I almost died from a ruptured artery. I was lying on the table in emergency at Harris Northeast Hospital and I looked up and here was Alice running through the door with the most scared and concerned look on her face. She stayed there by my side until after I had surgery. I tear up just thinking about it. She was a truly great person because when she liked you, you had a true friend. I could go on and on about this angel in my life. I could actually write a book. There is definitely an emptiness left in my heart. But, oh, how I thank God for letting me know her. I miss her and look forward to meeting her in heaven someday. Till then Alice, thanks for your friendship and love.

My mom was an amazing person and an amazing christian. I am a christian and the person I am today because of her. I will miss her dearly. She touched so many lives and brought joy to everyone around her. I am so glad she got to spend the last five years of her life living with us and enjoying our kids. Love you mom,
Randy

Mom Alice had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to laugh. She loved her family well and made me feel immediately welcome to join them as Rick's wife. A faithful follower of Christ and a loyal friend to many. I love you, Mom.

My mom was very special to me for the past 41 years of my life. She married my Dad when I was two and she just took me in as a son and made me the man I am today. I will always be thankful for the great memories of me and mom.
I love you mom very much and May the Lord be with you now in Heaven.
