

Alice Faye Brown entered into eternal rest on April 18, 2023. She was the first child of Mack Charles Brown (deceased) and Willie Mae Brown, her son Dedrick Washington, grandparents Annie and Herman Young and Norman and Savannah Brown preceded her in death.
Faye graduated from Olton High School and the University of Phoenix. She then received a Master’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. Faye was employed with JPS Hospital as a social worker at the time of her death.
Faye grew up in Olton, Texas. She participated in many activities in school. She was on the track team and the basketball team. Through the years, Faye worked at different jobs before landing in her life purpose. She graduated from college and became a social worker. She was an amazing woman. Her friendship circle was extensive. She was always available to those in need of her services, her friendship, a hug or just her presence. Faye loved cooking and reading in her spare time.
She is survived by her mother Willie Brown, brothers and sisters; Patsy Haines (Keith), Toni Watson (Glen), Linda Turner (Chester), Charles Brown, Mark Brown (Melissa), Tommy Brown (Elsa) and her beloved grandson Isaiah Washington, and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends.

A visitation for Alice will be held Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gregory W. Spencer Funeral Directors, 4000 Miller Avenue, Fort Worth, TX 76119. A homegoing celebration will occur Friday, April 28, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Forest Hill Seventh Day Adventist Church 7224 Forest Hill Dr., burial Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery 7301 E. Lancaster Ave.
