Mrs. Alize Reed

In Snyder, Texas on January 15,1955 Marvin and Marie Tanksley welcome their fifth and Final child, Alize Lee Reed, affectionally known as “LeeLee”.

Leelee received her education through the FWISD, where she attended IM Terrel High School. She spent her professional career in the healthcare field doing what she did best, caring for and nurturing others.

She was guided to Christ at early age and later became a member of Prince Memorial Missionary Baptist Church., where she served as a member of the choir.

In July of 1986 “Leelee “married Bruce Michael Reed and to this union created a beautiful blended family.

Leelee was best known for her vibrant personality, giving heart and how warmly she welcome and loved everyone.

Alize “Leelee Reed is proceeded in death by both her parents, Marvin and Marie Tanksley, two sisters. Sue Powell and Peggy Palmer brother Raymond Tanksley and son Micheal Yager Jr.

She leaves to mourn and cherish her memories, her devoted husband Bruce Reed. Sons Anthony D Tanksley, Darron Reed (Andrea) Ace Reed, Terry Reed, Bruce Reed Jr. Daughters Evangela Ashberry, Artavia Hicks (Terance) Nichole Spriggins (Kendric) and bonus child Connie Brooks. 21 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren two loving aunts and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Visitation will be held at Gregory W. Spencer Funeral Directors, 4000 Miller Avenue, Fort Worth, TX, on August 28, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Celebration Of Her Life will take place at Prince Memorial Missionary Baptist Church, 5301 Shackleford St., Fort Worth, TX 76119, on August 29, 2026, at 11:00 am.

Her Resting Place will be at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, 8301 Mansfield Hwy, Arlington, TX 76001, on August 29, 2026.
