Allen Lee Witt, 77, of Weatherford, Texas, passed away Wednesday, August 21st, 2024. He was born in Fort Worth, Texas on March 2nd, 1947. He was married to Rita Witt on December 16th 1966, they remained married for forty-seven years.
Allen had many passions, among those he rebuilt classic cars, played jokes on family, enjoyed any and all music, and of course, playing his beloved bass.
Allen is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Jewel Witt and his brothers Hoppy and J.P. Witt.
He is survived by his siblings, Jean Box and Lewis Witt; his children, Dena and Ricky Bell and Rayla Witt; his grandchildren, Kade and Bree Bell and Castin Thompson; Great-grandchildren, Landyn, Charlie, Marley, Faith, and C.J. along with extended family, Michael, Serra, and Big Charlie.
A memorial service for Allen will be held Tuesday, September 3, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Laurel Land Funeral Home of Fort Worth, 7100 CROWLEY RD, FORT WORTH, TX 76134.
