Alma Ellen Arterburn

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Alma Ellen Arterburn, who left us on February 7, 2026 at the age of 96. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend and her presence will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Born on July 13, 1929 in Fort Worth, TX, Alma was the daughter of Oscar and Mala Randolph. Throughout her life, Alma was known as Sis and Mom and for her love of family, her Christian faith, her love of traveling, especially cruising, and her volunteering at Mission Printing. She devoted her time and energy in later life to Mission Printing and the Sister Patricia Orphanage in India.

Alma is survived by her daughter Mary Carroll (Bruce), Grandson Michael Carroll (Whitney) Great-grandson Gabriel Carroll 4 nieces and 1 nephew and many more family and friends.

Alma was preceded in death by her parents Oscar & Mala Randolph, her husband Ernest Arterburn, her grandson Chad Carroll, and her brother Oscar Randolph Jr.

The family invites relatives and friends to a celebration of Alma's life on February 27th at 10AM to be held at Laurel Land graveside. The family deeply appreciates the outpouring of love, prayers, and support during this difficult time. Alma (Mom)’s legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
