Alton Dean Bishop passed away the morning of Saturday June 30, 2018 at 7:41am. He was 56 years old. A viewing will be held on Saturday July 7, 2018 from 10:00am to 12:30pm. Followed by the funeral service which will be from 12:30pm to 1:30pm. Both services will be held Shannon Rufe Snow Drive Funeral Chapel in Fort Worth off of Rufe Snow Drive. Following the services Dean will be taken to Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville to be laid to rest. Dean was born in Saint Louis, Missouri to his father Alton Manuel Bishop and his mother Malora Jean Nicholson. Like any young man he loved the outdoors and getting in to everything. In school he loved his sports and even achieved several awards while doing so. It was in Saint Louis that he met his wife Mary. They started their wonderful lives together on February 14, 1989. Their lives brought them to Texas where they had four children together. Dean spent his days doing what he loved the most and that was raising his children. Dean Bishop is preceded in death by his father Alton Bishop, his brother Roger Johnson, and his grandson Mason Flores. Dean Bishop is survived by his mother Malora Bishop, his wife of 29 years Mary Bishop, His children Robert Rodeen (Amanda), Steve Flores (Amber), Tabatha Bishop, Ashley Bishop, his grandchildren Madison Rodeen, Dawson Flores, and Mackenzie Vande Vuss.
