Anita received her formal education in the Fort Worth Independent School District. She was a proud “Wild Cat” and graduated from Paul Laurence Dunbar High Schools, Class of 1977. She later went on to attend TCJC and Texas Wesleyan earning her Associates Degree.
Anita Louise accepted Christ at an early age. She attended Providence Baptist Church where she was a faithful member.
Anita Louise worked over thirty years as an account specialist for Bank of America and then later went on to work for Chase Bank.
Anita was preceded in death by her father, L.C. Melton, daughter, Sheena Jack and her brother, Douglas Ware.
Left to cherish sweet memories are her son, Alfred C. Sims II; mother, Mayme Melton, aunt, Wanda Smith; uncle, Joe Ware; special nephew, Broderick Ware (LaKesha) and their daughter, Chloe Ware; a host of family and friends.
