Ann was the daughter of the late Frank and Rose Mehlmann of Swansea Mass, sister, Jean Malafronte of East Providence, and the late Dennis Mehlmann. She is survived by her husband, Gary F. Whynot. They were married for 45 years. Ann and Gary resided in Barrington Rhode Island for 20 years. She also lived in Port St. Lucie Florida until recently. They owned and operated Gillary's of Bristol for many years. Ann was a graduate of SMU School of Nursing in 1974 and graduated Magnum Cum Laude. Ann was a nurse for 47 years. She was instrumental in creating the Roger Williams Hospital home care department, as well as being a home care nurse, Hospice Nurse and Discharge planner.
Ann also is survived by her children, Dawn Dagenais, Adam Whynot and David Whynot; as well as, 6 grandchildren, David Impagliazzo Jr., Taylor Nienhuis, Eleana Moody, David Whynot Jr., Adam L Whynot and Jeffrey Whynot; 4 great granddaughters, Aubrey, Jolene, Emilia and Emory. All that knew her will miss Ann.
