Anna Jean Rivers Moore was born on March 6, 1946, in Daingerfield, Texas, to Floyd and Helen Rivers . As a child, she accepted Christ and attended Faith Temple Church of God in Christ then joined Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church. She graduated from J.J. Rhodes High School in Daingerfield ISD
and then moved to Fort Worth. In Fort Worth, she met Clarence Moore, Jr., and after a courtship, they married.
Anna Jean, or Ann, loved her card ministry, collecting salt and pepper shakers, plants, and watching “Wheel of Fortune,” “Perry Mason,” and the Dallas Cowboys.
She wore her deep love for the Cowboys, whether in a T-shirt or a jersey with one of her favorite players names on it.
On Saturday, September 19, 2026, God called Anna Jean home to be with Him.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Helen Rivers, siblings James, Floyd II, and Dorothy, and husband Clarence.
Anna Jean is survived by her children: Marcus and Tina; bonus children: Tracy, Terri (John), Bridget, Mildred, and Rochelle:siblings; Maurine Hall, Quine Hodge, Jessie Walker, Josephine Owens, Tolita (Terrell) Teddleton; sister- in law: Juanita Rivers; special nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends along with the Pangburn, Fellowship MBC, and U.S. Renal Family. She was "GiGi" and "Granny" to so many including Parker Jackson and Cruz Perez and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends,
