Annie was born July 1, 1923 in Shreveport, LA to Augustus "Gus" and Laura Thomson. She followed in her mother's footsteps into the school system as a teacher and later a certified counselor. She retired after 36 years with Fort Worth ISD.
Annie was preceded in death by her husband, SF Grubbs; brother, Gus Allen Thomson; nephew, Gerry Thomson; and great niece, Laura Thomson.
She is survived by her nephew, Ernie Thomson; niece, Betty Thomson; great nephew, Allen Thomson and wife, Pam; great-great niece, Elaine Thomson; great-great nephews, Jason and Justin Thomson.
