

She was born July 27, 1941, in Haynesville, Louisiana. She gave many years of service as a supervisor at Western Electric in Shreveport, Louisiana. She remained employed by Western Electric through their transition to AT&T/Lucent Technologies where she retired in 1996.
For all those that knew Annie James, they truly felt her love through her motherly presence, her passion for her dogs and of course… her cooking. Annie welcomed all to her home with open arms, encouraging words and joyous fellowship.
Annie is survived by her loving brother Roosevelt Terry (Houston, Texas), three sons,
Lorenzo (Karla) Clark (Fort Worth, Texas), Albert (Sylvia) James (Shreveport, Louisiana) and Joe James (Fort Worth, Texas). She was also a proud and loving Grandmother, Great Grandmother, aunt and dear friend to many. Annie is preceded in death by her mother, Lola B. Allen and one son, Reginald James.
In honor of Annie’s wishes, a private memorial service will be held for immediate family and memorial donations can be made to the Texas Alliance for homeless pets at www.petsintexas.org.
