

Funeral: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Laurel Land Chapel of Chimes. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park of Fort Worth. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Laurel Land Funeral Home.
Annie Frieda, best known as "Frieda" and "Memaw" was born on July 9, 1921, in Palestine, Texas, to Miles Edward and Annie Frieda Horton. She lived most of her life in Fort Worth. She was married to James "Jim" A. Moore for 36 years where they actively enjoyed and cherished every moment together. They had a wonderful life together until his passing in 2000.
Frieda was employed by Lone Star Gas Co. for 30 years. After Jim's passing, she enjoyed meeting new friends and living at Lakewood Village Retirement Community for eight years.
Frieda was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Moore; daughter, Frieda Fowler; sisters, Frances Lorenz and Dorothy Louise; brother, George Horton.
Survivors: She is survived by her son, Kenneth and his wife, Dorothy Wiese; granddaughters, Sherri and husband, Steve Pekrul, Misty and her husband, Phillip Donaho; and great-grandchildren, Ryan and Miranda Roberts, Mason and Corbin Donaho, Steven, Jorja, Piper and Ali Pekrul.
