Tony was born in the Bronx in 1927, the sixth of nine children. His parents, Gennaro and Nancy came from Salerno, Italy in the early twentieth century. Tony worked hard at a variety of jobs, and served for a short time in the Navy during World War II. In 1950, while working as a supervisor in a textile factory, he met and fell in love with Silia, who had also recently emigrated from Italy. They married the next year and began their life together. They remained devoted to each other for the 61 years of their marriage.
They had three children, Jerry, Susan and Diane. Tony worked for the US Postal Service until his retirement in 1993 and then they moved to Texas. They have enjoyed a busy life with lots of friends and of course, their two companions, Princess and Rambo.
Tony will be missed by family and friends, and leaves behind 3 children, 8 grandchildren and 3 great- grandchildren, and of course, his loving wife, Silia.
