Asia Toshia Durand

Born on September 7, 2000, in New Orleans, Louisiana, Asia was the beloved and only daughter of Rynnell Williams and Tamira Durand. She was the cherished granddaughter of Jeanette Keys, Bruce Williams Sr., and Steven and Jackie Durand.

Asia is lovingly remembered by her uncles, Glenn Kane, Bruce (Kenita) Williams, Justin Williams, and Steven Durand Jr.; her aunt, Stephanie Durand; her extended Texas family, Alicia Davis, Shalisha McLemore, Malisha Davis, Lori Newson, Liana Newson, and Aaliyah Newson; her brother from another mother, Davion Pierce; as well as a host of great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Asia was baptized on April 29, 2010, at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. She earned her high school diploma in 2016 and soon entered the workforce, building a career in the hospitality industry.

Throughout her life, Asia was blessed with many creative gifts and talents. She had a beautiful singing voice, was gifted in drawing, and possessed a natural talent for hairstyling and nail artistry.

Asia loved her friends deeply and without hesitation. She would bend over backward for those she cared about. Her love, loyalty, and generosity were unwavering. If Asia called you a friend, you truly had a friend for life.

To know Asia was to love her. She was full of life, free-spirited, and never afraid to speak her mind. Her vibrant personality could light up any room, and she left a lasting impression on everyone she met. A true daddy's girl, Asia shared a special and unbreakable bond with her father, with whom she spent most of her life.

Though her time on earth was far too short, Asia's love, laughter, honesty, and unforgettable spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She touched countless lives with her authenticity, kindness, and vibrant soul. Her absence leaves an immeasurable void, but the memories she created will be treasured forever.

Asia will be deeply loved, forever remembered, and truly missed.
