On March 27, 2020, Aurora Mendivil St. Leon, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother went to be with our Lord. Aurora was born November 18, 1937 to Maximo and Margarita Mendivil. She was a lifelong resident of El Paso, Texas.
Aurora met her future husband at the age of 13, married on January 5, 1957, and had four children. Besides being a proud mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Aurora was an amazing friend to all she met. She was blessed with many talents, most notably her love for singing in the choir, shopping on QVC or HSN, cooking, and traveling. There was never a dull moment if Aurora was in the room. She had a vivacious larger than life personality never having met a stranger. Aurora loved and treasured her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren who were the absolute joys of her life. She will be sorely missed by all that knew her.
Those left to cherish her memory are her four children John St. Leon III (wife Susie), Edward St. Leon (wife Carla), Yvonne Herrera (husband Julio), and David St. Leon (wife Marla); six grandchildren (KJ (wife Venicia), Krystee (husband Christopher), Faith, Dominic, Jr, and Ernesto (wife Arlene); two great-grandchildren (Karlee, Khloee); three step great-grandchildren (Alex, Diego, and Victoria); and brother Manuel Flores.
