

Barbara was born May 4, 1943, in Fort Worth to Darrel and Pat Conn. She was a member of Crowley United Methodist Church. She retired from the Fort Worth Star-Telegram and Ladies Auxiliary to VFW. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary since 1959 and worked diligently all the time she was a member and was president five times. She was an outstanding District 21 president for the state of Texas. When serving as state president, she won outstanding state president in her membership group and that was a very happy day in her life. She worked in the PTO and volunteered at Harris Methodist Hospital. Barbara was a Sunday school teacher when Donald was young and on the Administrative board at Crowley and Cahill United Methodist churches. She married Charles H. Gulick on May 21, 1966, and was married over 27 years when he passed away. On Sept. 4, 1999, she married retired Master Sgt. James H. Hoffman. She loved the Ladies Auxiliary to the VFW and all it stands for.
Barbara was preceded in death by her grandparents and her parents, Darrel and Pat Conn.
Survivors: Her loving husband of 15 years, James H. Hoffman; sons, Donald F. Gulick and wife, Shannon and A.J. Hoffman; sister, Pamela Conn Barker and husband, Gerry; grandchildren, Aleese Patricia Gulick and Matthew Gulick; nephew, Brandon J. Barker and wife, Brittany and great niece, Catherine Barker and numerous loving family and friends.
