Barbara Anne Richey

Barbara was born in Houston, Texas, on September 27, 1940, to A.D. and Lillian Caraway. She dedicated 30 years to Southwestern Bell/AT&T from 1959 to 1990. Barbara spent an additional 15+ years at Alcon Credit Union where she was known for her dedication to clients and community. She loved traveling, dining with friends, and cherishing time with her family.

Barbara is survived by her children, Kalena Crossley (Jeff), Brenda Heckman (Floyd), Jennifer Dreier (Darren); her grandchildren, Brian, Gaines, Amber, Katie, Jacob, Aribella, Kennedy, Leo, Charlie; and her great grandson, Kyler.

Barbara will be remembered for her kindness, humor, and love for her family. Her laughter and positivity were gifts to everyone who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Barbara’s name to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, to honor her brave fight.
