Barbara Ann Walker-Franklin

Barbara Ann Franklin was born on June 5, 1961 in Fort Worth, Texas to Napoleon Walker Sr. and Leola Walker. At a young age she found the Lord, attending St. John Baptist Church and then Zion Missionary Baptist Church. She graduated from Arlington Heights High School in 1979. Barbara married Ronald Franklin Sr in 1980 and they had three sons. Barbara worked for many years in dietary services, rising through the ranks to become Head Chef at a local care facility.

God dispatched an angel from glory to come for Barbara on Friday October 28, 2022 in the comfort of her home. Barbara will now reunite in Eternity with her parents Napoleon Sr. and Leola and her son Christopher who preceded her in death.

Surviving her homecoming are: her husband, Ronald Franklin Sr. and two sons, Ronald (Tiffany) and Anthony; her sister, Delta Walker (Willie); and three brothers, Napoleon Walker Jr. (Joann), Eric Walker Sr. (Sharlene) and Steven Walker Sr. (Chaka). She leaves behind two grand-daughters, Tatum and Desire'; three grandsons, Jii'britten, Corday, and Kaleb; and one great-granddaughter Reign; many nieces, nephews and a host of beloved family members and friends.
