Ben “Bennie” Y. Little Jr., 86, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away, Thursday, November 16, 2017 at his home. Ben was born July 30, 1931 in Fort Worth, Texas to Ben and Monnie Little. He joined the United States Marine Corps in 1952 and proudly served his country during the Korean War. He became a member of the Southside Masonic Lodge #1114 in August 1957. From 1967 to 1968, he held the prestigious title of Worshipful Master of the Lodge. Ben retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone after 40 years of dedicated service. During his life, he enjoyed trips to Port Aransas fishing with his best friend, hunting, flying as a private pilot, and spending time with his family. He was an avid car enthusiast and could often be found in his garage working on his prized 1951 Chevrolet. He was an amazing man whose absence will leave a void in the lives of many. Ben is survived by his two sons, Darrel Little and his wife Pam, Ben Y. Little III and his wife April; his five granddaughters, Heather Carney, Heidi King, Brayden Little, Kenna Hogan, and Quinn Hogan; and his three great-grandsons, Cross Carney, Jace King, and Ryan King.
