Benito Torres, 90, of Fort Worth, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 20, 2020. He was born on March 31, 1930 to his parents, Lupe and Maximina Torres in Bolanos, Mexico. Benito had a green thumb and found joy observing the progress of his flavorful garden. He loved his family dearly and will be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lupe and Maximina Torres.
Benito is survived by his loving wife, Sofia Torres; children, Lilia Reyes, Marina Robles, Lupe Torres, Jose Torres, Roel Torres, Martin Torres, Oscar Torres, and Benito Torres, Jr.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 pm Wednesday, August 26th at Laurel Land Memorial Chapel, 7100 Crowley Rd., Fort Worth, TX 76134.
Funeral Mass will be held at 9 am Thursday, August 27th at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 509 W. Magnolia Ave., Fort Worth, TX 76104, with the Graveside Service to follow in Laurel Land Memorial Park, Fort Worth.
