Benjamin Jones was born in Wichita, Kansas, to David and
Anna Jones. He attended Flower Mound High School and was
the oldest of three children, proudly taking on the role of big
brother to his two younger sisters.
Benjamin loved deeply. He loved The Lord, his family, his
friends, and the work he took great pride in. Benjamin had an
especially deep love for his parents, David and Anna. He
adored and genuinely loved his mom and dad, cherished the relationship he
shared with them, and never outgrew being their son.
The love and bond they shared were incredibly special to him.
Above all, Benjamin took great pride in being a husband
and a dad. His family meant everything to him.
Loving them, providing for them, making them
laugh, and simply being there for the people he
called his own were some of the greatest joys of his
life.
You might find him at the
grill, dancing without care, cheering sometimes loudly for his
Dallas Cowboys, or sitting with a guitar playing alongside his
Dad and friends. He loved good music, good food, laughter,
and having the people he loved close by.
And then there were the things that were simply Ben, that
smile, that laugh you could recognize anywhere, and that
beard. Those are the little things we would
give anything to see and hear just one more time.
Benjamin left us far sooner than we were ready for. There will
always be a song, a Cowboys game, a cookout, a familiar
laugh, or a quiet moment that brings him right back to our
hearts.
Our hearts hurt because we loved him so much. But Ben loved
Jesus, and through our tears, we hold tightly to the promise
that this goodbye is not forever.
Ben, we will miss your smile, the smile in your eyes,
your laugh, and simply having you here. You were
deeply loved as a son, brother, husband, dad, uncle,
and friend. Until we see you again, we will carry you with us always.
