Bess was born in July 1928 to T.B. and Eula Fincher in Shive. She was raised in McGirk and Pottsville and was a graduate of Pottsville High School where she played basketball.
Bess was a loving mother and wife, truly dedicated to living her life for Christ, and she cherished her time with family and friends. She loved her Lord and taught ladies' Bible study classes much of her adult life. She loved her husband, sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The legacy Bess leaves behind is one of faith and love.
Besides her Lord and her family, she loved cooking, quilting and reading. Bess and her husband, Marvin, spent most of their adult life in Fort Worth and then retired to a small farm in Hamilton County.
Bess will join in heaven her husband of 64 years, Marvin Kauitzsch.
