Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, at Baker Chapel AME Church, 1050 E. Humbolt St. Interment: Cedar Hill Memorial Park. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel, with a wake starting at 7.
Her beautiful smile and giving heart touched the lives of so many people. She loved to cook and bake for her family and friends. She was especially known for her holiday dinners and hummingbird cakes. She was loved and adored by many and will be greatly missed.
Survivors: Children, Bessie White, Delbert Sims and Freddie Sims of Fort Worth; sisters, Martella Crisp of Abilene, Mae Della Tatum of Fort Worth and Mae Ella Mitchell of Oklahoma City; 10 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
