She was born in Pittsburg, Kansas on January 2, 1925 to Elmer Abraham Elliott and Mildred Emmaline Hogan Elliott.
Mrs. Rogers was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Thomas Carl Rogers, and her son Gary Leighton Rogers.
She is survived by her daughter Deborah L. Rogers Crook with her husband Robert; son Jeffrey E. Rogers with his wife Cheryl Sue; and her daughter in-law Cheryl Ann Rogers; her grandchildren James French, Stephanie Ross, Josh Rogers, Corri Robinson, Jared Rogers, Aaron Rogers, Jordan Rogers, Amanda Kirkpatrick, Jeremy and Justin Baker; along with, 18 great-grandchildren.
Her brother Donald Elliott and wife Clair and Bernard Elliott and wife Janice also survive her; along with, many nieces and nephews.
Her family greatly appreciates the loving care given by the staff at Wren House in Cleburne, The Gardens in Keene, and Community Hospice.
