

Fort Worth, Texas-- Betty Jean Booth, 96, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021.
Betty Jean was born in San Benito, TX and raised in Harlingen TX. She attended TCU for two years and then transferred to The University of Texas in Austin, where she earned her BBA. While working in Austin, she married her husband, Roy, of over 50+ years. They then moved to Ft. Worth, TX to raise a family.
She was a strong Christian, always keeping her faith attending First Christian Church in Ft. Worth. During college was a proud member of Gamma Phi Beta sorority. She was a "Golden Girl" in PEO, a woman's philanthropic organization for 76 years.
Betty Jean Booth was preceded in death by her husband Roy A. Booth Jr. and youngest son, Martin Lee Booth.
Betty, known as "Grandma Begee" is survived by son Allen Booth of Ft. Worth, TX, and daughter Carol Pate and husband Greg Pate of Kingwood, TX. She was so proud of her six grandchildren, Merritt Baumgartner and husband Greg Baumgartner of Memphis, TN, Erica Rubino and husband Michael Rubino of Aledo TX, Chase Booth and wife Sommer Booth of Aledo, TX, Grace Booth attending University of Arkansas, Leanna O’Brien and husband Joe O’Brien of Coppell, TX and Jennifer Colvin and husband Jamie Colvin of Murphy TX.
She additionally is survived by 14 precious great-grandchildren!
Funeral Services will be held on Monday held on Monday August 30,2021. The family will be receiving guests from 10:00AM – 11:00AM with a graveside service immediately following.
