Betty was born May 19, 1926, to Hubert Solomon Cannon and Cassie Mae Thomas Cannon. She graduated from Polytechnic High School in 1943 and went on to work as a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell for 40 years. Betty enjoyed flowers and nature.
The family would like to thank Stonegate Nursing Center for providing care for her during her last year of life.
Survivors: Sister, Jean Cannon Taylor and her husband, Leon; brother-in-law, Robert Morris; niece, Jennifer Jolin and her husband, Brian; and great-nephew, Thomas Jolin.
