Betty Katherine Keenan

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Betty Katherine Lackey Keenan who left us on May 18, 2025, at the age of 90. She was a beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother and her presence will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Born on September 14, 1934 in Fort Worth, Texas, Betty Keenan was the daughter of Archie Elmer Lackey and Katherine Emily Wilson Lackey. Throughout her life Betty Keenan was known for her fierce devotion and love for her family and her devotion to God. To know her was to love her.

Betty Keenan is survived with deep sorrow by her daughters Donna Driskell and Vicki North. Grandchildren Amanda Grosz, Crystal North, and Daniel Driskell. Great Grandchildren Adler, Rowan, and Cullen Grosz and Alia and Elayne North.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents Archie and Katherine Lackey, brothers James Ray Lackey and Ernest Calvin Lackey Sr., husband Walter Edward Keenan, and daughter Susan Denise Powell.

The family invites relatives and friends to a celebration of Betty Katherine Lackey Keenan's life on Saturday, May 24th, 2025. To be held at Laurel Land Funeral Home with visitation starting at 9:00AM with graveside to follow at 10:00AM. The family deeply appreciates the outpouring of love, prayers, and support during this difficult time. Betty Keenan's legacy will live on in the hearts of all that knew her
