Billie Marie Spoonemore Davis

Billie Marie Davis, age 92, of Fort Worth, Texas left this earth to be with her Lord Monday, June 27, 2016. She was born in Greenville, Texas on November 30, 1923 to Mattie Frances and Guthrie Spoonemore. She was proceeded in death by her husband of 64 years, Albert John Davis, who served as a B-17 gunner in the Army Air Forces in the South Pacific during World War II. Also her brother, Omer Ray Spoonemore, and sisters Frankie Jane Spoonemore, Ruth (Spoonemore) Curtis, Lola Laurine (Spoonemore) Bruce, and Hazel (Spoonemore) Jackson, and granddaughter Micayla Delaney Davis. Billie was a homemaker and mother all her married life. Billie is survived by: Son, Johnny Michael Davis (wife-Jane Davis) of Crowley, Texas, and daughter, Mary Carol (Davis) Raub, (husband-David Raub) of League City, Texas. Grandchildren: Kevin John Davis, (wife-Jessica Davis) of Cleburne, Texas; Gwen Davis Enrriques (husband-Rick Enrriques) of Crowley, Texas; Eric L. Raub of Seattle, Washington; and Erin Lee Lobdell, (husband-Eric Lobdell) of Houston, Texas. Great grandchildren: Reilly Davis, Keegan John Davis and Anthony Enrriques. Sisters: Ruby Jean Davis and Helen McCain, and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Visitation will be at Laurel Land Funeral Home (Chapel of Chimes) on July 5th from 6 to 8 PM. The service will be Wednesday, July 6th at 10:00 AM, also in the Chapel of Chimes.
