Billy was born March 15, 1932, in Reese Prairie. Billie served in the U.S. Air Force from 1952 to 1956, receiving the rank of staff sergeant. Billie was employed at Bell Helicopter for over 30 years prior to retirement. He enjoyed fishing, water aerobics and visiting with family and friends. Billie was a kind-hearted man who treated others well.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Franklin Jenkins. Survivors: Mother, Marie Waters; sister, Lonna Kay Snow; sons, Pete Jenkins and wife, Yvonne, Bob Jenkins and wife, Laura, David Jenkins and wife, Micki; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren
