Born SEPTEMBER 14, 1929 to Oscar & Damie VanVeleck of Fort Worth, Texas. Billie went home to be with her Lord on MARCH 16, 2023 from Brownwood, Texas at the age of 93.
Billie graduated from Poly High School in Fort Worth.
She married Ed Roy Spurgeon May 18, 1957. Billie worked at several jobs over the years such as General Dynamics, Alcon and church secretary for Rolling Hills Baptist Church. She loved horses of all kind and enjoyed barrel racing as a young woman.
She was saved and baptised at an early age. Church and her Lord were always foremost on her mind with a willingness to serve where needed. Billie was a faithful member of Worth Baptist Church, Ft. Worth as her health permitted the last few years.
The Lord blessed her with 2 children, Charlene & husband Russell, Bruce, 4 grand children, Laura & husband Kevin, LaBeth, Bo & Chance, 3 great grand children, Lauren, Luke & Dallas. One living brother, Philip Van Vleck and wife Vickie of Weathford.
