Billy Raymond Bonner, age 77, born January of 1941 in Crosby, Texas and passed away August 23, 2018 in Bedford, Texas. Billy proudly served his country in the US Navy in the 1950's. He was a volunteer firefighter in the 60's in Anthony, Texas. He worked with ADT in 1950's and 1960's, commercial glazier, owner of motorcycle repair business, and worked as a Architectural Draftsman for EBY Construction. Billy graduated from Gasden High School and Tarrant County Community College on May 15, 1991. He enjoyed motorcycle road racing, rock n roll and classic rock music, playing cards, fishing, camping outdoors and RV camping and traveling via the backroads. He was one of the top mechanics in the motorcycle field and participated as a roadracer and won 4th place in the Oak Hill Raceway in 1981 BRRR Racing GP, Mod. Prod. Novice 380. He was a member of the Central Road Racing Club, Western Eastern Roadracers, AMA (American Motorcyclist Association) and Associated General Contractors of America. He is survived by his loving wife, Marty Lou Bonner; daughter, Kimberly Lynn Bonner; sisters, Sandra Bonner KIeman and Sherri Bonner Morgan; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren with 1 on the way. Preceded in death by father, Crawford Almond Bonner; mother, Edna Bonner and son Billy Raymond Bonner, Jr.. Family will receive friends from 6 pm to 8 pm, Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel. Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 am, Friday, August 31, 2018 at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel, 6001 Rufe Snow Drive, Fort Worth, Texas 76148.
